Who Does She Think She Is? Women and creativity

I met professor Blake and her husband along with Professors Carey and Fisher at the Museum of Fine Arts to see a MOST phenomenal documentary film, "Who Does She Think She Is?" It is a film that everyone should see. Speaking not only to finding and sustaining your artistic voice, it spurred reflection on many aspects of my life. ...thoughts about being a woman and nurturing a profession while fulfilling all the other roles society expects of a female...
The website for this film is really well done, too: http://www.whodoesshethinksheis.net/
After the viewing, we were able to go to a small conference room and discuss with the film's makers: Pamela Tanner Boll, director; Michelle Seligson, producer; William Dunning, producer/writer, star (!) Camille Muser, Artist, and Will McMillan Assistant Director for the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.
It was fascinating to hear how the project developed and their thoughts on some of the issues raised in the film.
Once again this is proof that Boston is a magical place where great things happen - Many of these people live and work around Boston!
Keep this film on your radar. It's already gotten awards at several film festivals, and you can count on it becoming a classic!
