Non-textile marvels... coffee filter gown, anyone?

At the undergraduate garment review, I was enamored with Gregory Hugill's gown made entirely out of coffee filters! It looks like a soft high-quality cotton fabric, but it actually is composed of many superimposed coffee filters.

This project was completed in the Fashion Design Concepts class, under the guidance of Professor Sebor-Cable.

Gregory was explaining his concept and execution to me.

Such creativity!!!!

  1. Cool and simple idea.. that was great!
Finding a high-quality cotton fabric was difficult just like finding a mens suit.

  2. Very fashionable! Elegant and clean.. but i guess, it's expensive as what it looks.
