Senior designers display work for review

On Friday, Feb 6, the senior fashion design students created displays of their senior lines, showing the design concept, logo, market, and the first two garments.

Professionals, peers, faculty from across the campus, and friends of the College are invited to review the garments and fill out evaluation sheets.

This is a unique opportunity for these student designers to gain insight into how their work will be perceived in the professional world...just another example of the Lasell College connected learning philosophy in practice!

Professor Morris, who teaches the Senior Thesis classes, organized the entire event.

Here is a picture of some of the senior designers early in the morning setting up. Many hours of hard work have already been logged to arrive to this point! Congratulations - and give yourselves time to take a nap. You deserve it! ;-)

Mark your calendars for May 2, 2009 to see their entire collections on the runway!
