More of the first day!

It's hard to believe there could have been more to talk about during the first day of our trip, but the previous post covered only until about noon!

After we settled into the Hotel Magendie - which, by the way, had the FRIENDLIEST staff EVER, I went with Allyson and Lindsay to help them get a European cell phone on rue Mouffetard.

Because the assignment theme was to find fashion design inspiration from the French boulangeries, thought we'd get busy right away with our research (!). Allyson's was as beautiful as it was tasty, and Lindsay's was soooo chocolaty! ...notice they both got two spoons - this is the voice of experience!


We got to the Paris American Academy and waited for the group to come for orientation. The faculty and staff of the PAA gave us a thorough overview of the two weeks to come!

Then we had a delicious dinner in a French restaurant across the street, "Le Vin Sobre" The Sober Wine.
