PAA Professors: Xavier Brisous

Xavier Brisous - how to describe our interaction with him? He is QUITE adorable, talented, and professional!! As a knitwear designer, he has an incredile ability to communicate essential knowledge that enable both design and merchandising students to better understand how to work in knitwear product development. His teaching style was quite explicative, and he was very careful not to continue until he feelt that everyone has understood the concept in question. He made personal contact with each student, and his visual aids were remarkable!
During our second session with Xavier he spoke about his personal experience, beginning as a graduate of the prestigeous Central St. Martin's School of Design in London, he was one of the finalists in the Woolmark "Wool, c'est cool" 2008 competition, joining the ranks with Karl Lagerfield and Yves St. Laurent.

Xavier designs Anne Valerie Hash knitwear and also has his own line. These are some photos of his line. His style is classic with refined details that give the clothes a fresh twist! I would have bought a sweater for my son in a minute, but in Europe you can only buy his line in a boutique in Lille, France.
We all hope that our very own Louise Boston
will start selling his line.
Please email Louise Boston and tell them you agree!! Xavier Brisous men's knitwear would be perfect for the Boston market!!
