Appliance use in Paris update!

Well, I had a nice nap and now I'm getting ready to go have dinner. I was kind of freaking out because I didn't know if my flat iron would work here - I just bought it for $12.99 in the Dollar Store, figuring that if it breaks no big deal, right? Well, I checked that it said voltage from 110- 240, put the plug changer adaptor on it and with some emotion and fear of blowing a fuse, I plugged it in. The result was delightful!! It worked beautifully!

My iPhone charger is the same way, as are my laptop and the global phone I got from Lasell. So don't worry about buying super expensive stuff that advertises working in France. Just check the voltage on what you buy to be sure it goes up to 240.
