Mme. Picot worked with the famous Mme. Gres; she was one of five women who were capable of making the intensely structured and beautiful draping that made the house of Gres famous. She began the session telling the inspiring yet wrenching story of the House of Gres, then she explained and demonstrated the technique for making these exquisite gowns. Students even got to try their hand at the technique!
