JET 42-71 Alumni line prep for Emerging Trends fashion show.

Last Sunday deWitt Hall and the adjoining classrooms on campus were alive with models, managers, and designers preparing for the Emerging Trends Fashion Show, including two alumni designers from the team of JET 42-71: Julie Kontos and Eileen Apelian. Thomas Kwon, the "T" in JET was at Louis Vuitton working.  

Julie and Eileen tried their five ensembles on an array of models, testing the looks with accessories, and taking photos of each. 

As I was watching them go through the process and deliberate the photos, it struck me to think how this process is so very similar no mater where the show is being prepared. Whether it's two young designers in Newton working with volunteer models for a show for the public, or a team of show producers, stylists, and a high-profile designer preparing for a professionals-only haute couture show, the steps are the same; the motions are the same.
