Lasell's history is so rich! Founded in 1851, by the time this ad was published, Lasell was already celebrating its 80th birthday!! Professor Carey found this when she was doing research for an exhibit she is preparing with her fashion history seminar students that will be mounted at the Charles River Museum in Waltham next May.
