Last Friday a group of Fashion Design students took a 10-minute drive to the design studios of Sondra Celli in Waltham, MA. Sondra is a wonderful friend of the department and she invited us to come and see the latest collection from Swarovski, presented by Heidi Bentsen, the Swarovski rep from New York. The students and I were so inspired, not only by the crystals themselves, but also by the incredibly creative presentations that Swarovski developed to inspire designers. Here is a photo of the group with ADORABLE cookies in the shape of high-heeled pumps.
